Plots of land for sale in Vellern
In Vellern, the new development area no. VE 10 "Kirchfeld" is being built adjacent to Höckelmerstrasse. The town of Beckum is selling 17 plots for detached houses, 12 plots for 6 semi-detached houses and 1 plot for an apartment block. Applications and offers can be submitted by post or email until 31 August 2025.

New development of ISEK Beckum city centre
The last integrated urban development concept (ISEK) for Beckum city centre from 2012(IHMK Beckum Innenstadt 2012) was completed with the completion of the Kirchplatz St. Stephanus construction project. The new version of the Beckum city centre IUDC now sets out the framework for action for the city centre for the next 10 years or so and at the same time creates the conditions for acquiring new urban development funding. Planning has been underway since the end of 2024.

Redesign of the eastern Hellbach valley
The redesign of the eastern Hellbachtal in Neubeckum is a flagship project from the integrated urban development concept (ISEK) for Neubeckum, which was developed in 2020. It states that the eastern Hellbachtal should be redesigned as a leisure and recreational area for all age and user groups, taking into account aspects such as accessibility, climate protection and climate adaptation. The implementation of the measures goes hand in hand with a legally required ecological redesign of the Hellbach. Planning has been underway since mid-2023.
