Private-sector fibre-optic expansion in Neubeckum successfully completed by GlasfaserPlus

GlasfaserPlus, a joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, an expert in global infrastructure projects, laid 44 km of fibre optic cable in Neubeckum on its own account between 27 August 2024 and 12 July 2025. This gave 4,400 households the opportunity to access the high-speed data network free of charge.

The companies Fiber Experts Deutschland GmbH and Libra GmbH from Steinfurt were involved in the expansion.
