Service anniversaries and farewells at the City of Beckum

Thanks for decades of commitment in various professional fields

In the presence of colleagues, superiors and HR managers, Mayor Michael Gerdhenrich presented certificates and gifts to the guests of honour and expressed his thanks and appreciation for their many years of commitment to the town of Beckum. "It is with great appreciation that I honour your remarkable loyalty and commitment to public service and express my heartfelt thanks to you all for your personal dedication," said the head of administration in his speech.

The Chairman of the Staff Council, Daniel Siegesmund, also handed out gifts to the deserving colleagues in addition to warm words. The breakfast that followed was followed by a cosy get-together, during which many joint activities were discussed. The list of areas in which the jubilarians have worked shows just how diverse the public sector is: Procurement office, school caretaker, child and youth welfare, building management, public order office, local audit, telephone switchboard, IT, building regulations and city treasury.
