"Beckumer Spitzen" on 16 May

"Tunnel in sight" thanks to the "Herkuleskeule"

The Herkuleskeule from Dresden has completely revamped its cult play "Tunnel in Sicht". Three quirky losers, who admittedly don't see themselves that way, meet on a railway platform. The three are not only waiting for the train, but somehow also for their future.

Despite the hard-hitting political punchlines, there is plenty to laugh about in this top-class political cabaret evening. The three protagonists don't "just" deliver the (sharply) honed wordplay, they also get themselves in on the act. "Tunnels in sight. Lachen wenn's zum Heulen ist" is not a programme of numbers, but a modern, exciting mixture of cabaret and theatre. Author Wolfgang Schaller himself calls it a "cabaret play". The political sword is swung here, not the sabre, and the texts master the balancing act between fun and seriousness with ease. The author promises that the audience will have a lot of fun despite the sad situation.

With fresh satire and sharp punchlines, Dresden's Herkuleskeule, one of the best political cabarets in the German-speaking world, brings current politics to the stage. Predicate: definitely go there.
